Two Types
Non-Credit Qualifying: No credit pull, no income check. Simply verify on-time payment history. The fastest path.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must have an existing FHA loan
- Loan must be current (no 30-day lates in past 12 months)
- Minimum 6 payments made; 210+ days since first payment due
- Must show a "net tangible benefit" — at least 0.5% rate reduction (combined rate + MIP)
Does Streamline Eliminate MIP?
No — FHA MIP carries over into the new loan. To eliminate MIP, you need to refinance to a conventional loan (which requires 20%+ equity). The streamline is purely for rate reduction.
